BLÜM offers next-day delivery for local deliveries within the Charlottesville area.

For local delivery, orders must be placed by 5:00 PM to ensure next-day delivery. For meaningful occasions, we recommend placing orders in advance whenever possible.

During March and April, additional delivery dates may be available. Please refer to the delivery calendar for current availability.

Delivery timing is based on our daily design and delivery route to ensure each arrangement is created fresh and delivered with care. While we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery time, every order is hand-delivered within the delivery window.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we ask that someone be available to receive the delivery whenever possible. If no one is available at the time of delivery, redelivery may be required and additional delivery fees may apply.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Incorrect addresses may result in additional delivery fees.

BLÜM offers local delivery within the Charlottesville area, including Free Union, Crozet, Earlysville, and surrounding Albemarle County communities.

For larger or special orders, delivery to the DMV (Washington, DC–Maryland–Virginia) region may be available upon request. DMV deliveries must be arranged and confirmed via email (hello@fromblum.com).

We recommend reaching out at least two weeks in advance for DMV deliveries requests.

BLÜM designs florist’s choice arrangements using seasonal blooms, allowing each piece to be thoughtfully created with the freshest flowers available.

While we are unable to guarantee specific flowers, you are welcome to include color preferences or special requests when placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate whenever possible.

Events & Custom Orders

BLÜM accepts a limited number of events to ensure each gathering receives thoughtful attention and beautifully curated florals.

Our arrangements are designed to be enjoyed at their peak. Longevity naturally varies depending on the blooms and season, but with proper care, your flowers will remain beautiful for several days.

Flowers are not meant to last forever; they remind us to be present and to appreciate beauty as it is.

To extend the life of your flowers, place the arrangement in clean water upon arrival. Refresh the water daily and re-trim the stems at an angle after a few days to encourage continued hydration. Keep your arrangement away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts for optimal longevity.

BLÜM’s tip: A teaspoon of sugar in the water can help nourish blooms and help keep them looking fresh longer.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers and the made-to-order design of each arrangement, all sales are final.

BLÜM is not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect delivery information or arrangements left unattended after delivery.
